One address, read by the people who maintain the thresholds.

## The address [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) Mail to this address reaches the people who write and review the records. There is no ticket queue and no auto-responder; a person reads it. ## What is worth writing about **A threshold that looks wrong.** If a boundary on a threshold table does not match what you measure or what your training tells you, say which record, which grade, and what number you would expect instead. Being specific about the value makes the message actionable. **A protocol two people would score differently.** Ambiguity is a defect in a measurement protocol. If two careful readers of the same page would end up with different numbers — because the landmark is vaguely described, or the stance is not pinned down, or the camera distance is left open — that is worth fixing. **A term with no settled translation.** The Chinese records are written alongside the English ones, not translated afterwards. If a term in the Chinese version reads as an approximation rather than the term a practitioner would actually use, that is a correction worth making. **A factual error with a source.** If a record misstates a figure, a study or a definition, send the source and the record title. **A correction or a takedown request.** If material on this site reproduces something that is yours and should not be here, write with the URL and a description of the material. **Technical problems.** A page that renders wrong, a figure that will not load, a link that goes nowhere. ## What this address cannot do **It is not a clinical service.** Nobody here will read your measurements and tell you what they mean for you, and nobody here will assess an injury, review an image or advise on treatment. Messages of that shape cannot be answered. For pain, numbness, weakness, night pain, or anything that began after a fall, see a clinician — the referral thresholds on each record say the same thing. **It is not a place to pitch products.** Links, guest-post offers, sponsored placements and "partnership opportunities" are not accepted and will not be answered. The site carries no sponsored content. **It is not monitored around the clock.** Expect a reply within a few working days. A message about an ambiguous protocol may take longer, because it usually means going back to the source material before answering. ## Before you write Three things make a message much easier to act on: - **The record title and its URL.** Records on this site share similar names across stations; the title alone can be ambiguous. - **The exact reading or sentence you are writing about.** Quote it, so there is no doubt which part of the page is in question. - **What you would expect instead, and why.** A number, a source or a worked example is more useful than a general objection. If the message is about a figure, note that the parametric figures are generated at build time from the same numbers that appear in the readout table. A figure that disagrees with its table is a bug in the generator, and reporting it is genuinely useful. ## For press and licensing Write to the same address. State the record titles you intend to use and where they will appear. Short quotation with attribution is welcome without asking. Republishing a full record, a threshold table, or a figure file requires written permission, since the figures are original generated works. ## Security and privacy Do not send personal health information, photographs of yourself or anyone else, or any sensitive records through email — this address is not a secure channel and nothing arriving there is treated as confidential. See the [privacy policy](/privacy/) for what this site does and does not collect.
