Pelvis
Screens for the front-to-back tilt of the pelvis, read from the ASIS/PSIS relationship, the lumbar arch, and the sacral contact patch against a wall. Both directions of tilt are covered.
Anterior Pelvic Tilt
The front of the pelvis drops and the lumbar arch deepens.

Posterior Pelvic Tilt
The pelvis rolls backward, flattening the lumbar curve and tucking the sacrum under.

Heel Slide Lumbar Check
Lie on your back, flatten the lower back, and slide one heel away until the back lifts. The distance the heel travels tells you whether the hip can extend without dragging the pelvis with it.
-
Wall Lumbar Gap in Finger Widths
Stand against a wall and slide a flat hand under the lower back. The count in finger-widths is the reading — and so is the count after tucking the pelvis.
-
Wall Occiput-Thorax-Sacrum Check
Three contact points against a wall. Which ones reach it without effort, and which one is lost first, is the reading — and the flatter curve is the one people miss.

ASIS-PSIS Photo Angle
Two points on the pelvis, one side photograph, one angle from horizontal. It is the most direct reading of pelvic tilt available without equipment.
